What is a Leased Line?

Leased Lines provide Broadband Internet access. However, the Internet connection is solely for the customer and is not shared. Leased lines are private and is a telephone line connected between 2 points – the customer (usually an organisation rather than household) and the Internet Service Provider. A Leased line is a symmetric Internet connection that provides the same bandwidth capacity when sending or receiving voice or data.
